About 50 years ago I stopped work on 1/25 scale Styrene Model Cars and put them in storage. Recently I retired and then had an accident that left my hands much less useful than they were (among other problems). Having gone through all the Rehab that they had, they suggested I work with my hands on the smallest scale I could, possibly returning some lost functions. So I dug out the old models and got some spare parts from my brother.
I will put finished work in the Gallery and make some How To's to show others how the old guys did it. Starting with some engines in poor shape, I will rebuild them and display them. Possibly I might sell some on Ebay to pay for supplies. I also plan to do some pictures and videos for the How To's.
Update: After over 2 years, my hands have stabilized at about 80% of what they were. Considering how bad it was and how it may not have improved at all, I can't complain. Besides, I now have a fun website and I may have talked my brother into selling old models and kits again, now he is retiring. LC's Scale Hot Rods was his part time business some years ago so I will try to help him set up a Weebly website.
